Faction Warranty Policy
We offer a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects on Faction products purchased from factionskis.com or an authorised retailer, starting from the date of original purchase.
Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage or damage caused by misuse. If you are unsure whether your issue is covered, please contact us. We assess each claim individually.
This warranty is additional to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
How to submit a warranty claim
If you purchased from factionskis.com
Open the chat on our website and tell our AI assistant that you would like to submit a warranty claim. It will guide you through the information needed to start your claim.
Please have your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the issue and clear photos ready.
If you purchased from an authorised retailer or online retailer
Contact the original seller. They will assess your request and submit a claim to Faction on your behalf.
For retailers: please submit customer warranty claims through the B2B warranty form available on our website.
Proof of purchase is required to assess eligibility under this warranty. For website purchases, we may be able to verify your purchase using your order details.
Please report any suspected defect as soon as you notice it. Do not send products back before receiving instructions from Faction or your retailer.
Skis, poles & hardgoods
Faction skis, poles and hardgoods are covered against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of original purchase.
This warranty applies to products purchased new from factionskis.com or an authorised retailer. Products purchased through unauthorised sellers, ski swaps or private sales, including second-hand products and used rental skis, are not covered by this commercial warranty.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement. The available solution will be confirmed following assessment of your claim.
The following are not covered when caused by use, wear or external damage rather than a manufacturing defect:
Normal wear and tear.
Misuse, abuse, neglect, poor maintenance or unauthorised alterations.
Impacts involving rails, boxes or other park features.
Collisions or impacts with rocks, ice, hard snow, trees or other objects.
Damage caused by falls or crashes.
Scratches, chips or topsheet and base damage caused by ski-to-ski contact.
Rust, fading or other cosmetic deterioration caused by use, storage or poor maintenance.
Damage caused by incorrect binding mounting or adjustment, including binding pull-out resulting from improper mounting.
We recommend having bindings mounted and adjusted by a qualified ski technician.
We may request photos of the serial number or QR code. In some cases, accessing these may require binding removal. Please wait for our instructions before removing bindings.
Additional expenses, such as binding remounting, are not covered by this commercial warranty unless required by applicable law.
Apparel & softgoods
Faction apparel and softgoods are covered against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of original purchase when purchased new from factionskis.com or an authorised retailer.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange a repair or replacement.
Covered manufacturing defects include:
Defective stitching or seams.
Defective zippers or attachment hardware.
Defective hook-and-loop fasteners or snaps.
Missing or defective drawstrings, cords or leashes.
The following are not covered when caused by use, wear or improper care rather than a manufacturing defect:
Rips and tears.
Fading, including UV damage.
Pilling or shrinking.
Damage caused by alterations.
Colour bleeding, loss of waterproof performance or other damage caused by incorrect washing or unsuitable detergents.
Issues relating solely to fit are not manufacturing defects. Please follow the care instructions supplied with your product.
Claim assessment
Each claim is reviewed based on the information and photos provided. We may request additional details or a product inspection before confirming whether the issue is covered.
If you have questions about an assessment, please reply so we can review your concerns.
